I was rummaging through my coin purse to pay for something. Then, I saw this hidden quarter dollar coin among my one peso coins. An American must have confused it with a peso and used it to pay, then the cashier (at Kenny Rogers’ most probably) must have handed it to me as change.

My family and I ate dinner at Shiro Shiro Japanese Restaurant. We availed of the deal offered by Metrodeal: 5 Course Set Meal (Okinawa, Tokyo or Kyoto) for 2 Persons. Since there were 5 of us in the family, we bought 3 coupons and chose 1 of each of the set meal.
I loved the ambiance and the interior design of the restaurant and their very friendly and accommodating staff.

Behind a large transparent glass window with water continuously flowing down was a wall mural of the Taj Mahal, thus creating the particular fuzzy effect.

The vegetable samosa and the vegetable cutlet surprised me. I never thought I’d like something made of vegetable that much. Perhaps it was the rich flavor and the smooth texture of the mashed potato that made it delicious.
